I’m a senior content director and media project manager who has built a career creating media campaigns and partnerships, launching community-powered products, and publishing pop culture, travel, and special-interest content for major brands like Marvel Entertainment, Tripadvisor, and Atlas Obscura.

I also like card tricks, old buildings, and things in miniature.

As a content director and strategist I lead and liaise with large, cross-functional teams to grow revenue and improve engagement with media initiatives integrating articles, video, social assets, live events, and more. Among my achievements, I’ve developed a cross-brand newsletter for Marvel Entertainment with an initial reach of over a million readers and helped AirBnB build live tour content as one of their first Experiences partners.

Outside of leading larger brand projects, I’m also a writer covering pop culture and the hidden corners of our world. I’m the author of Spider-Man for Dummies, a distillation of decades of comic book knowledge for the novice spider-fan. I’ve also written about dying virtual worlds, hidden priest holes, 17th-century competitive eaters, and moon burial for outlets including Atlas Obscura, Vanity Fair, Motherboard, and Slate.

I’m also an experienced event and experience producer, and the founder of Atlas Obscura’s Digital Experiences program. For over a decade, I’ve created and hosted variety shows, trivia nights, and tours that have been covered in Rolling Stone and Time Out New York. (Custom events? I’ve done those, too, for partners like Team Coco and Literati Book Club.)

Finally, I can often be seen or heard on shows like NPR’s “All Things Considered,” A&E’s “The Proof Is Out There,” and Travel Channel’s “Mysteries at the Museum.
